Missing Bellaigue Monk Found Safe 170 Kilometers Away

A 29-year-old monk from the independent Abbey of Notre-Dame de Bellaigue in central France, who had been missing since Tuesday evening, was found safe on Friday.
The Benedictine-inspired community in Virlet, in the Puy-de-Dôme department, was formerly affiliated with the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (FSSPX). It aligned in 2019 with the movement associated with Bishop Richard Williamson.
French gendarmes launched a search operation on Wednesday morning, deploying ground teams and aerial resources to locate the missing religious.
According to LaMontagne.fr, the monk was found alive and without apparent injuries near Limoges, approximately 170 kilometers (105 miles) west of the monastery.
Authorities have not disclosed how the monk came to be so far from the monastery or the circumstances surrounding his disappearance. They have released no information suggesting criminal involvement, nor have they indicated whether he left voluntarily or experienced a medical or psychological …Ossotina

Zac Davis, associate editor of the Jesuits' America magazine, criticized the Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel after Eucharists on X.com: "I cannot express how much I dislike the St. Michael Prayer after Mass." He argued its language "breeds a sense of paranoia and cynicism" and that it "does not belong in the liturgy." Composed by Pope Leo XIII in 1884, the prayer was recited after Low Masses until the post-Vatican II reforms and has recently been reintroduced after Eucharists in many U.S. dioceses.

Jesuit-run America magazine editor condemns St. Michael Prayer after Mass - LifeSite

Thu Jun 25, 2026 - 2:28 pm EDTThu Jun 25, 2026 - 8:18 pm EDT
(
LifeSiteNews) — The associate editor of the heterodox Jesuit-run America magazine expressed his revulsion toward the recitation of the Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel after Mass in a Wednesday social media post.
Zac Davis, who is also co-host of the “Jesuitical” podcast, wrote on X, “I cannot express how much I dislike the St. Michael Prayer after Mass. It is so, so jarring to me every time.”
“To say nothing of the intent/content of the prayer, the language, and repetition and prominence given to it breed a sense of paranoia and cynicism. Instead of going out to evangelize the world, everyone is ready to go to war with it,” he wrote, replying to a Jesuit praising the recitation of the prayer after Mass.
Against Davis’ last point, John Monaco pointed out that evangelization of the world and going to war with it “aren’t mutually exclusive.”
Davis went on to share his belief that the St. Michael Prayer is acceptable …

Enough is enough.
Let all those Fernandezes, Davises and other Judases know - time of lukewarmness tolerating sacrilege and desecration in the name of human respect or wordly-ungodly peace has ended. Holy indignation should replace it.

Monk Disappeared from Former FSSPX Benedictine Monastery in France

A monk from the traditional Benedictine monastery of Notre-Dame de Bellaigue in Virlet, central France, has disappeared without a trace.
The monk was reported missing on Wednesday morning, prompting a major search operation by the French Gendarmerie.
Ground teams and aerial units have searched the area around the remote monastery, but after two days no trace of the missing religious has been found.
The search for the missing monk is ongoing.
Authorities have not disclosed the circumstances of the disappearance, and investigators have not indicated whether they suspect an accident, a voluntary departure, or criminal involvement.
According to LaMontagne.fr, two monks cautiously suggested that the missing brother may not have left the monastery of his own accord.

Cardinal at Wrong Microphone: A lighthearted moment opened the Extraordinary Consistory as Cardinal Giovanni Battista Re, Dean of the College of Cardinals, walked toward the wrong microphone. Smiling, Pope Leo XIV quipped, "In front of everyone, Your Eminence!" before the 92-year-old Cardinal crossed the hall to the correct microphone and delivered his address.

Part 4 - Ineffabilis Deus - How the Church Proclaims the Definition of the Immaculate Conception
How the Roman Church Proclaims Mary's Glory – Immaculate Conception.
Ordinary Teaching of the Roman Church
These truths, so generally accepted and put into practice by the faithful, indicate how zealously the Roman Church, mother and teacher of all Churches, has continued to teach this doctrine of the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin. Yet the more important actions of the Church deserve to be mentioned in detail. For such dignity and authority belong to the Church that she alone is the center of truth and of Catholic unity. It is the Church in which alone religion has been inviolably preserved and from which all other Churches must receive the tradition of the Faith.
The same Roman Church, therefore, desired nothing more than by the most persuasive means to state, to protect, to promote and to defend the doctrine of the Immaculate Conception. This …Ossotina

Parish in Paris: "Prayer" Praising Pride Procession

Worse than Germany: An "interfaith prayer vigil" linked to a homosexual march will take place on Friday, 26 June, in the Salle des Colonnes, the parish hall of Saint-Eustache Church in central Paris, France.
The huge and very famous Church of St Eustache was built between 1532 and 1633 and is the second largest church in the city, just behind Notre-Dame.
The event is being organized by the homosexual organization D&J Arc-en-ciel (David & Jonathan) together with affiliated groups.
According to the organizers, the vigil is intended to offer "a moment of gathering, prayer and celebration of our diversity" on the eve of the annual Marche des Fiertés (homosexual march).
The Archdiocese of Paris has been led by Archbishop Laurent Ulrich since 2022.

You are of your father the devil, and the "desires" of your father you will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and he stood not in the truth; because truth is not in him. Cardinal: "Consistory Is Tightly Controlled"

The consistory that began today "feels like it was organized by a Human Resources department," one curial cardinal told the Substack.com-Account 'The Pillar' on June 26. The report relies entirely on anonymous sources.
"It's all too tightly controlled. It doesn't feel like there's freedom to discuss the issues we need to discuss. Instead, we're being led by very specific questions on very specific issues in very small groups, without space for open discussion," the cardinal said.
A second cardinal expressed uncertainty about the consistory's agenda: "These are surely very important societal issues and challenges, but I am not sure what we are supposed to add to the discussion beyond talking about personal experiences."
He added: "I don't know what the Holy Father expects of this consistory, if I'm being honest."

‘How, by exercising oneself in servile fear…’ ~ 'The Dialogue' of Saint Catherine of Siena; 1907; A TREATISE OF DISCRETION; pp. 141-142

[Saint Catherine of Siena /Caterina di Benincasa/; XIV-XV Century AD; born: Siena, Republic of Siena/died: Rome, Papal States; aged 33; Spiritual Writer; Mystic; Virgin; Doctor of the Church]
How, by exercising oneself in servile fear, which is the state of imperfection, by which is meant the first step of the holy Bridge, one arrives at the second step, which is the state of perfection.
" I told thee that no one could go by the Bridge or come out of the river without climbing the three steps, which is the truth.
There are some who climb imperfectly, and some perfectly, and some climb with the greatest perfection. The first are those who are moved by servile fear, and have climbed so far being imperfectly gathered together ; that is to say, the soul, having seen the punishment which follows her sin, climbs ; and gathers together her memory to recollect her vice, her intellect to see the punishment which she expects to receive for her fault, and her will to move her to hate that fault. …Ossotina

When Leo XIV Allowed Illicit Episcopal Consecrations

Having accepted in 2025 bishops appointed unilaterally by China, Leo XIV should not threaten the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (FSSPX) with excommunication for similar actions, writes Rev Matthew Dimock, a diocesan priest of the Diocese of Charlotte on OnePeterFive.com on June 25.
Rev. Dimock is NOT a defender of the FSSPX.
His argument is that justice requires the Church to enforce its laws consistently, rather than making exceptions based on diplomatic or political considerations.
In late April 2025, during the period between the death of Francis and the election of a new pope, the Chinese Communist Party announced the election of two bishops, an Auxiliary Bishop of Shanghai and the Bishop of Xinxiang. Shanghai already had two bishops and one auxiliary bishop. Xinxiang already had a bishop.
Normally, the Vatican publicly announces bishops before their episcopal consecrations, but in these cases the announcements came only on the day of the consecration.
Rev. Dimock argues that …Ossotina

As an example of how Catholic clergy were/are treated in China, the UCA (Catholic News agency in Asia) reported in 2007: “In the days before the patriotic congress, Catholic clergy in Hebei province – were pressured by the government to attend the congress."
Bishop Li disappeared after the army forced him to illicitly ordain a bishop. People believed Li was embarrassed to show his face to the faithful for what happened and hid himself in the Cathedral in Cangzhou.
After a few weeks, police officers and other people went to the cathedral and gave the resident priests there an “ultimatum” to hand over the bishop, UCA News reported.
The diocesan Vicar General, Chancellor and two other priests who work at Bishop Li’s house were taken away, detained, and questioned for information on the bishop’s whereabouts. They were warned that if the bishop could not be found, his family and the diocese would face trouble. The officials questioned everybody in the house, including the doorkeepers and …Ossotina

Because the Church no longer preaches the necessity of the State of Grace we now have a state of emergency!

He can barely recognize the poor creatures as the work of his most holy hands! Florence Archdiocese Funds LGBTQ+ House

Worse than Germany: The Caritas of the Archdiocese of Florence has launched Project Andrea, under which the Archdiocese will work hand in hand with the group Arcigay. The latter is Italy's leading homosexual advocacy organization.
IlGiornale.it reported on June 23 that the flagship initiative of the project is Casa Andrea, a facility open to homosexual young people.
The house will offer "personalized support and protected accommodation for young men and women in [gender] transition between the ages of 18 and 35."
The entire project is funded by the Church through the Italian tax allocation 8×1000 (eight per thousand).
"We are very proud to have opened Casa Andrea and the services connected to it," said Marzio Mori, director of Caritas Florence.
This is only the latest sign of the Florentine archdiocese's closeness to homosexuals, especially since Archbishop Gherardo Gambelli took office in June 2024.

Woman Leads Liturgy on Saturday in Cathedral Instead of Eucharist

On March 14, a Saturday, for the first time, a woman led a liturgical celebration in place of the “Sunday” Eucharist in the Cathedral of Bozen/Bolzano, Italy.
Italian media spoke of "la celebrante" ("the celebrant").
Maja Clara and has been leading such liturgies for about ten years. She works as a journalist at the state press agency. “As a child, I wanted to be a pastor,” she says.
The Diocese of Bolzano-Bressanone, which covers the German speaking South Tyrol, is run by Bishop Ivo Muser.
In the diocese, about 500 (!) laypeople are entrusted with this ministry, nearly two-thirds are women. The Diocese has 500k Catholics and about 350 priests in 280 parishes. This makes less than 1,5k nominal Catholics per priest.

While Catholics ought to read the document in its entirety, it is worth highlighting one article here because it offers a key to understanding the entire crisis in the Catholic Church. Here is Article 72:
“I therefore reject every claim to invoke the Holy Ghost in order to justify doctrinal adaptations that break with Tradition, moral reversals, or synodal procedures by which what the Church has received from God is put in question. The Spirit of truth cannot today inspire the contrary of what He inspired yesterday. He does not invite the Church to listen to the world in order to receive its aspirations from it; on the contrary, He impels her to teach the world, to convert it, and to sanctify it. His work consists neither in stirring up anarchic inspirations, nor in encouraging doctrinal creativity, nor in grounding spiritual life upon the search for extraordinary charismatic phenomena; it consists in guiding souls by enlightening their faith and defending them against their spiritual …Ossotina

Read This Before July 1: The SSPX Profession of Faith Unlocks the Whole the Crisis - The Remnant Newspaper

If you're trying to understand why the SSPX is proceeding with episcopal consecrations on July 1, this is the article to read first. The newly released SSPX Profession of Faith isn't simply another doctrinal statement—it lays out, in remarkable clarity, the theological issue that has divided Rome and Tradition for decades.
On June 24, 2026, the Society of St. Pius X (SSPX) published a
Profession of Catholic Faith of the Society of Saint Pius X to Enlighten Souls in the Face of Modern Errors, a 28-page document consisting of 154 articles. As the document’s title suggests, the various articles set forth truths of the Catholic Faith with corresponding rejections of the errors that oppose those truths. For most Traditional Catholics, the document will be a joy to read; for those in the Vatican, it will presumably be baffling and aggravating.
While Catholics ought to read the document in its entirety, it is worth highlighting one article here because it offers a key to understanding the …

“Even if the Pope were Satan incarnate, we ought not to raise up our heads against him, but calmly lie down to rest on his bosom. He who rebels against our Father is condemned to death, for that which we do to him we do to Christ: we honor Christ if we honor the Pope; we dishonor Christ if we dishonor the Pope. I know very well that many defend themselves by boasting: ‘They are so corrupt, and work all manner of evil!’ But God has commanded that, even if the priests, the pastors, and Christ-on-earth were incarnate devils, we be obedient and subject to them, not for their sakes, but for the sake of God, and out of obedience to Him.” St. Catherine of Sienna
