Archbishop Aldo Cavalli, 79, a former Apostolic Nuncio and the Apostolic Visitor for the parish of Medjugorje, administered Confirmation to two young Irish Travellers in the Adoration Chapel in Medjugorje, reports David Murgia on IlSegnoDiGiona. According to pictures, the women wore inappropriate short white pyjamas. Murgia says the outfits reflect festive dress customary in the Irish Traveller community. He claims to have verified the circumstances through multiple sources and that the photographs are authentic.

One Priest, One Sacrifice, One Eternal Covenant Jesus is the new covenant and the high priest according to the order of Melchizedek, reestablishing the original priesthood. Unlike the Levitical priesthood, Jesus’ priesthood is singular and everlasting, offering his own blood as the ultimate sacrifice for the forgiveness of sins. This understanding is crucial for priests and all Catholics, as it highlights the significance of the Mass and the individual’s participation in Christ's sacrifice. Fr. "Murder in the 33rd Degree: I was there" MINISERIE that will soon be released Rome, 1978. The Vatican lives the year of the three popes. Pope Paul VI entrusts an archbishop with a very delicate mission: to investigate allegations of corruption and Masonic infiltration at the top of the Roman Curia. A young priest, silent witness of all that, kept the secret for almost fifty years. Now, Father Charles Theodore Murr breaks that silence in front of the cameras. He talks about the threats he witnessed, the men of power he met, and the final fate of documents that—according to him—should never see the light of day. His story goes through the death of a Pope, the enigmatic 33 days of pontificate of John Paul I, and the arrival of John Paul II. Murder in the 33rd Degree is a historical investigative documentary series based on Father Murr's testimony and book of the same name — a direct look at one of the most controversial stories of the modern Vatican. The project is presented by Vade Retro …More
– Folha de S. Paulo, March 26, 1979 – by Plinio Corrêa de Oliveira John Paul II and the Tomorrow That Awaits Us I have waited until now for the official text of John Paul II’s message to the bishops opening the Third CELAM Conference in Puebla, as well as the document approved almost unanimously by the prelates in the final vote days later. Puebla’s Importance With these two key texts in hand—one opening the great meeting and the other closing it — we can make an objective assessment of what Puebla will mean for the future of the Church in Latin America and for the universal Church. Latin America now holds such a position within Catholicism that it significantly shapes the Church’s course worldwide. Finally, Puebla matters for the future of humanity itself, since the Church’s influence — direct or indirect, explicit or implicit — extends to all nations, even those that are not Catholic, and thus profoundly conditions the unfolding of universal history in our century. In passing, a question …More

The Anglican St. Paul’s Cathedral in London has entered a four-year partnership with Fabric, one of the city’s best-known nightclubs. Fabric will stage contemporary music events inside the cathedral through 2030. The first concert is scheduled for October 29. The artist has not yet been announced. St. Paul’s says the program aims to attract new visitors and introduce them to the cathedral through music and culture. The partnership follows earlier performances by RY X and Patti Smith.

Around 100 motorcyclists gathered with their bikes for a an Open Air Eucharist at the Madonna del Lago church in Castel Gandolfo last Sunday. The annual gathering is led by parish priest and motorcyclist Rev. Tadeusz Rozmus, known as “Don Biker.” During the Novus Ordo, prayers were offered for riders, their families and those killed in road accidents. The bikers then rode in procession through Castel Gandolfo to join Leo XIV for the Angelus. The Pope gave them a special greeting, welcoming the motorcyclists attending their “traditional annual gathering.”
The International Theological Commission's new document presents panentheism as an 'interpretive framework' for understanding God as 'intimately present in every aspect of reality'. It explicitly contrasts this with classical theism. @Gaetano Masciullo argues that this positive portrayal of panentheism obscures the Catholic distinction between Creator and creation and risks normalising pantheistic theology.
The Vatican’s International Theological Commission has just given a positive hearing to panentheism (the idea that creation exists “in God” so is also Divine).
A “queer ecumenical service” was held inside the Catholic Kollegienkirche in Salzburg, Austria, on September 2 as part of the city’s “Pride Festival.” Catholic participation included the Catholic University Chaplaincy, alongside Protestant, Old Catholic and Methodist representatives and a homosexual advocacy group. Salzburg’s archbishop is Franz Lackner.

The Universal Call to Christian Perfection A Patristic and Scholastic Essay Poverty, Chastity, and Obedience as the Means to Perfect Charity perfection_essay_v4 (1) (1) PREFACE: THE FALSE ASSUMPTION There is an error of comfort that has always threatened the Church from within — more dangerous in many respects than the errors that attack her from without, because it does not announce itself as error but settles quietly into the assumptions of ordinary Christian life and makes itself at home there, undisturbed and unexamined, generation after generation. It is the assumption that not every baptized soul is called to Christian Perfection. This error takes many forms. It presents itself as realism — an honest acknowledgment that most people are not monks or nuns and cannot be expected to live as though they were. It presents itself as pastoral charity — a merciful lowering of the bar for souls who are, after all, doing their best in difficult circumstances. It presents itself as theological …More
Today, Leo XIV joked with children at the Vatican’s annual Family Day for employees and their families. “How much is six-seven?” he asked, while making the hand gesture from the viral “6-7” meme. He then answered 13 - turning the deliberately meaningless meme into 6+7. Teenagers followed with another slang: “Papa, can you say ‘aura’?” Leo looked puzzled and repeated: “Aura?” - prompting more laughter. Online, “aura” refers to someone’s coolness, charisma or presence. Young people jokingly give or take away “aura points” depending on what someone does.
Pope Leo XIV makes a dad joke to kids about 6-7, saying “how much is 6 + 7? It’s 13.”
Another Vatican appointment for Montse Alvarado: Leo XIV puts the future head of Vatican communications on the board of his new “Fratello Sole” Foundation - even as her digital record at EWTN offers little to celebrate. Today, Leo XIV appointed Maria Montserrat “Montse” Alvarado as a member of the Board of Directors of the Vatican’s newly established Fratello Sole Foundation. She becomes the third member of its three-person governing board. Alvarado is due to take office as Prefect of the Dicastery for Communication on November 1. She is divorced and received a Church annulment of her marriage. She is not a theologian and has attracted attention for arguing in 2022 that Jews should not be converted to Christianity. Women Taking Over the Vatican Leo XIV established the Fratello Sole Foundation in June to oversee an agrivoltaic project intended ultimately to meet the electricity needs of Vatican City State. The three-member board now consists of: - Sister Raffaella Petrini, President of …More
Chris Jackson Sep 05, 2026 Anthony Abbate: Chairman of the Fence A tuxedo, a microphone, a theological crisis, and one very comfortable fence. New Catholic satire song is now live on YouTube. There are men who take a position. There are men who change positions. And then there are men who build a very nice house directly on the fence, install a microphone, order a cocktail, and begin explaining why everybody on either side has gone too far. That brings us to “Chairman of the Fence.” Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. I’m Anthony Abbate. I host a show called Avoiding Babylon. Every week I tell you the men running Rome hate Tradition. Then I call you crazy for questioning whether they’re Catholic. Now, let’s all remain calm. [Verse 1] I say Rome persecutes the ancient Mass; The SSPX defends what Rome attacks. I toast Marcel Lefebvre for saying no, And hail the SSPX for doing so. But ask if Rome’s hierarchy has the right to rule, I call you a “sede moron” and a fool. I lay out all the …More
I just went out of arguments in a dispute with a good friend about the actual situation of Saint Peter's Holy See. This singed satire came just in time like a charm!
Priests must continue to celebrate the traditional Mass ‘under the radar’ and, when necessary, openly defy the attempted prohibition of it, philosopher Peter Kwasniewski told Certamen.info. He underlined that lay Catholics who attend an FSSPX Mass because of their attachment to the old rite are “by no means schismatics.” But he simultaneously distances himself from a more strongly pro-FSSPX position: “If another opportunity of assisting at the old rite is already available in the same geographical area, it becomes harder to justify attending an SSPX chapel.” He points to the FSSPX’s “manifest canonical irregularity.”
#katholisch#Kirche
Yet, he conveniently overlooks the Conciliar religion's "manifest authentic-Catholicism irregularities." If questioned, of course, Kwasniewski would disagree with a significant amount of the current Conciliar practices being winked at or promoted by the Conciliar popes, bishops and priests. I suspect that he wants to try to keep one foot in each camp so he can project himself as being a "Catholic" for all readers. "But because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold, not hot, I will begin to vomit thee out of my mouth."
Saint Mother Teresa of Calcutta - September 5 (1910-1997) “By blood, I am Albanian. By citizenship, an Indian. By faith, I am a Catholic nun. As to my calling, I belong to the world. As to my heart, I belong entirely to the Heart of Jesus.” Small of stature, rocklike in faith, Mother Teresa of Calcutta proclaimed God’s love of humanity, especially for the poorest of the poor. “God still loves the world and He sends you and me to be His love and His compassion to the poor.” Her soul filled with the grace of Christ; and she burned with one desire: “to quench His thirst for love and for souls.” She was born on August 26, 1910, in Skopje, a city at the crossroads of Balkan history. She was the youngest child of Nikola and Drane Bojaxhiu. She was baptised Gonxha Agnes, received First Communion at the age of 5 and was confirmed in November 1916. Following her First Holy Communion, a love for souls was kindled within her. Her father’s sudden death when she was 8 left the family in financial …More
