On 28 January, the statue of Our Lady outside St. Gertrude’s Church in Far Rockaway, New York, was again vandalised. It was found face down in the snow, with the back of its head smashed in. The same statue had been vandalised approximately three months earlier. Church officials notified the New York City Police Department, though no video footage was available.

His swipe at Trump came out of nowhere--in a perfect world we would have a perfect president. The opportunity finally arrived on Sexagesima Sunday, when Cardinal Repole, in person, addressed the Mass. After the solemn entrance—to the singing of the Ecce Sacerdos Magnus, admirably performed by the Choir— Repole attended the Holy Mass, celebrated by the Rector, in choral attire.
