20K views · 1.2K reactions | Thank you to everyone who has already donated. I am genuinely staggered by how much we have already raised. I cannot express how grateful I am. This is a video that I have wanted to make for a while as it’s a fascinating piece of history connect to one of the most iconic streets in Britain. Thus, I thought it was appropriate to make it now as I’ll soon be doing my charity cycle ride to raise money for the church in which Henry Jermyn is buried and memorialised. However, the speculation about Jermyn’s fathering of Charles II is probably false, merely being rumour invented by the Parliamentarians. Nevertheless, I’m sure he was a bit of father figure for Charles ! Come rain or shine (and it’s looks like it will be rain) my friends and I will complete our cycle ride. Hopefully, in spite of the forecasted rain, we will bring you all along for the journey! Our charity cycle ride is part of the Suffolk Historic Churches Trust annual Ride and Stride fundraising …More

"Modernist Church Kills Everything It Touches: The newly ordained FSSPX Bishop Michael Goldade criticized the Church during today's Vespers: "If the Catholic Church in her tradition brings forth life, the modernist church is a desert. It kills. It kills everything that it touches. It kills the supernatural life. It kills the sources of grace. It dries up everything because it has placed man in the place of God and therefore turned away from the sources of life."
Bishop Michael Goldade of the SSPX says his consecration and that of three other bishops today are signs "of the vitality of Holy Mother the Church."

If you look closely at the tiles on the platforms, you'll see they are designed to look like a giant strip of film. Across all four platforms, black and white tiles mimic sprocket holes along the top and bottom, turning the entire curved wall into a massive film reel. It is a clever nod to the local area's long connection with the film industry and the world-class movie premieres held in the square above today. Want to spot this yourself? Monday, 7th July 1913 Accused Policemen Will Face Commission Tuesday Monday, July 7, 1913 The entire board of twelve police commissioners, including the mayor and the chairman of the police committee of council as ex-officio members, is expected to be in attendance Tuesday evening at the trial of the eight policemen recently suspended by Chief J. L. Beavers. Chairman Carlos Mason, who has missed only one meeting during his five years' service on the board, returned Monday from a vacation especially to attend the trial, and all other members are expected to be there. The eight suspended policemen are involved in the police scandal revolving around the raiding of a blind tiger, disorderly house and dance hall, operated at 127 Auburn avenue by a negress by the name of Ola Bradley. The majority of the suspended policemen have engaged attorneys to defend them before the police commissioners, and lively scenes during the trials are expected. As the evidence against most of the policemen is …More
She Just Won $150,000 — And She's Going Where? This young champion just shocked the room by choosing a small Catholic school over the Ivy League or big state schools. The people at Wyoming Catholic College must be ecstatic. The look on President Trump's face is priceless.
Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Matthew 8,28-34. When Jesus came to the territory of the Gadarenes, two demoniacs who were coming from the tombs met him. They were so savage that no one could travel by that road. They cried out, "What have you to do with us, Son of God? Have you come here to torment us before the appointed time?" Some distance away a herd of many swine was feeding. The demons pleaded with him, "If you drive us out, send us into the herd of swine." And he said to them, "Go then!" They came out and entered the swine, and the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea where they drowned. The swineherds ran away, and when they came to the town they reported everything, including what had happened to the demoniacs. Thereupon the whole town came out to meet Jesus, and when they saw him they begged him to leave their district. angelyelina
Plinio Corrêa de Oliveira From an informal lecture on July 1, 1965 (*) To understand the devotion to the Most Precious Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ, we should look carefully at the meaning of blood and blood that is shed. By doing this, we can then consider the meaning of the shedding of the Precious Blood of Christ. We all know that blood is biologically part of our body. However, blood is also intimately associated with the vital element of the individual as a person. That is why we give to the Blood of Christ all the adoration due to Christ Himself. Our blood is naturally meant to be inside the body. Hence, every time we bleed, it is something of an unnatural or catastrophic nature. Many illnesses, for example, are perceived by bleeding caused by some malfunction inside the body. Bleeding is almost a sign of alarm, which because of its violence, calls attention to the fact that something is terribly wrong with the person. Besides illnesses, bleeding also calls to mind fighting and …More
Sunday, 6th July 1913 Phagan Case Centers on Conley; Negro Lone Hope of Both Sides Sunday, July 6, 1913 *Editor's Note: See insert article, "Decisions Which May Aid Defense of Frank", at the conclusion of this post. Frank Expects Freedom by Breaking Down Accuser's Testimony, and State a Conviction by Establishing Truth of Statements. BY AN OLD POLICE REPORTER. The developments in the Phagan case have been of late highly significant and interesting. During the past week, it became evident that the very heart and soul of both the prosecution and the defense is to center largely about the negro, James Conley. He is at once apparently the hope and the despair of both sides to the contest! This circumstance, however, while tending to add much to the dramatic and the uncertain, in so far as the outcome is concerned, is not by any means an unusual thing in cases of this kind. It frequently happens in mysterious murder cases that both the State and the defense must pin their faith to one and …More
