A major new study has found that France’s food delivery sector is almost exclusively staffed by migrant workers, a majority of whom are living in France illegally. The Enquête report, based on a survey of more than 1,000 riders in Paris and Bordeaux, reveals that 98.7 percent of delivery couriers were born outside France, with nearly two-thirds lacking legal residency status, highlighting the extent to which the platform economy depends on a highly vulnerable migrant labor force. The workforce is dominated by recent arrivals from Africa, the majority of whom are not undertaking any other education or training in France. A total of 55.2 percent of riders come from West Africa, making it by far the largest group. A further 17.4 percent are from North Africa, while 4.6 percent come from other African countries, meaning that over 77 percent of all riders are African-born. By comparison, 16.6 percent are from Asia, 4 percent from the Middle East, and fewer than 2 percent from France. Most …
Elbridge Colby, serving as Undersecretary of Defense for Policy under Donald Trump, reportedly summoned the then Apostolic Nuncio to the United States, Cardinal Christophe Pierre, to the Pentagon in January. This was reported by TheFp.com on April 6. The meeting followed a speech by Leo XIV to diplomats in which he warned against “the imperialist occupation of the world” and urged leaders to abandon the “desire to dominate others.” The Pentagon considered the speech as a bitter lecture against the USA. Colby and his colleagues told the Nuncio that the Catholic Church had better take its side. One U.S. official went so far as to mention the Avignon Papacy (1309–1377), when the popes were under strong influence from the French crown. Cardinal Pierre sat through the lecture in silence. #newsYbhsfkutcq

"Despite a ceasefire between the US and Iran, Israel continues to completely wipe out Christian villages in Southern Lebanon - some of which have been in place since the Resurrection of Jesus Christ - while the alleged target, Hezbollah, moves safely to the north and west of the country. More Christians have been exterminated by the Jewish state in this operation than all of the Christians killed by ISIS combined."
In the ceasefire Iran said, the killing and bombing in Lebanon must cease! Iran defending Christians once again. While as usual bibi wants them dead. The Christians in Iran are with the government and against the US and Israel for attacking them for no reason. They are standing side by side by the Iranians because they see themselves as brothers. They want us out of there NOW! Larry Johnson said that is part of the ceasefire. Trump went crawling to them after no one cared to get involved in his evil war. We lost and he knows it. So he went begging Iran to stop. Except the killing in Lebanon must stop as part of the deal. Remember trump and bibi bombed them twice in the middle of negotiations. First time killing 170 little girls. As well as trying to bomb a little boys school. Iran made out in a great way with this ceasefire. But it wont last. I doubt this very highly. We know we can't trust trump. And now the whole world knows they can't and they all turned their backs on him. Sad to …More

Kneel like Romans or Stand like the Ancients? Early Christians generally did not kneel while taking Holy Communion; they stood to receive it, viewing it as a joyous, resurrection-themed act. Kneeling was primarily associated with penance or solemn prayer, not communion, with the Council of Nicaea (325 AD) forbidding kneeling on Sundays. The shift to kneeling at Communion began much later, around the 12th century. Standing is Ancient: The earliest practice, especially in the East, was to receive communion standing and often in the hand. Kneeling as Penance: Early Christians often stood during liturgy. Kneeling was largely used for prayers of repentance, not as a standard posture for receiving the Eucharist. 12th-Century Shift: Kneeling for Communion became more common in the West in the 12th century, introduced alongside the adoration of the Host during the Elevation Prohibition on Sundays: The early Church, including the Council of Nicaea (A.D. 325), encouraged standing on Sundays …More
By their fruits, every knee shall bend at his name never mind his true presence Actually bowing touching your head to the floor even though private revelation the Angel of Portugal taught the children Fatima prayer On one occasion, the three children saw the angel prostrate himself before a host and chalice that hung in the air. Worshiping the Eucharist, the angel prayed: Most Holy Trinity—Father, Son and Holy Spirit—I adore Thee profoundly. I offer Thee the most precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in all the tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges, and indifferences whereby He is offended. Pope Leo XIV has issued an Easter message to residents of Debel, a predominantly Christian village in southern Lebanon, currently besieged by ongoing Israeli bombardments and military restrictions. The message was delivered through Cardinal Pietro Parolin. Leo XIV expressed “paternal closeness and tenderness” to the people of Debel and extended compassion to all civilians suffering amid the conflict in South Lebanon. The message encouraged residents to find spiritual strength in the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus, despite the “sorrow, anguish, and mourning” brought on by the violence and isolation facing the village. The Pope also urged the community not to lose hope, assuring them that their prayers and suffering are not forgotten. Invoking the protection of Our Lady of Lebanon, he concluded by offering his Apostolic Blessing to the people of Debel and their families. #newsHyygasezja

April 1 ~ ST. HUGH, BISHOP IT was the happiness of this Saint to receive from his cradle the strongest impressions of piety by the example and care of his illustrious and holy parents. He was born at Chateau-neuf, in the territory of Valence in Dauphine, in 1053. His father, Odilo, who served his country in an honorable post in the army, labored, by all the means in his power, to make his soldiers faithful servants of their Creator, and by severe punishments to restrain vice. By the advice of his son, St. Hugh, he afterwards became a Carthusian monk, and died at the age of a hundred, having received extreme unction and the viaticum from the hands of his son. Our Saint likewise assisted, in Tier last moments, his mother, who had for many years, under his direction, served God in her own house, by prayer, fasting, and plenteous alms-deeds. Hugh, from the cradle, appeared to be a child of benediction. He went through his studies with great applause, and having chosen to serve God in an …More
"/Saint Francis of Paola/ A famous preacher, instigated by a few misguided monks, set to work to preach against St. Francis and his miracles. The Saint took no notice of it, and the preacher, finding that he made no way with his hearers, determined to see this poor hermit, and confound him in person. The Saint received him kindly, gave him a seat by the fire, and listened to a long exposition of his own frauds. He then quietly took some glowing embers from the fire, and closing his hands upon them unhurt, said, “ Come, Father Anthony, warm yourself, for you are shivering for want of a little charity.” The story of a wonder: the iconic San Francesco di Paola crossing the Strait of Messina on his overcoat

Chapter XVI A certain woman used to repeat the words “ Hail Mary ! ” always with great devotion. And, having to carry food to her husband in the field, because there was no one to whom she could entrust her child, she began by saying devoutly her prayer “ Hail, Mary,” and so forth, and committed her son to the Blessed Virgin in these words : “ I have no one to put in charge over my child except thee.” And so left the boy and went to her husband in the field. But in the meantime a fire broke out in the next house and, hearing an outcry, they ran from the field to the house and found it burnt down. Grieving more for the boy than for the house and the loss of their goods the mother cried out : “ O Blessed Virgin, to thee I entrusted my son.” And they searched for the child and they found him entirely unhurt. Chapter XVII There is a famous place called Speyer on the Rhine where an image of the Mother of God is worshipped, which on three occasions spoke to St Bernard. Whilst his mother …More
"At last the image of the almighty Child is said to have returned his embraces and said : “ Pupupe, do not cry. After three days thou shalt eat with me.” The mother heard and trembled. She told an old canon who came up about the miracle, who, wisely perceiving the truth said : “ Watch your son from this day, and after three days you will not have him.” At once the child caught a fever and died within three days and so went to Christ."
Did Trump Just Threaten to Nuke Iran Tonight? /Lt Col Daniel Davis I think someone who called him Nero is much closer. Low on everything. 15 Tomahawk missiles left, so what is he thinking? What will he use to destroy a whole civilization? I would love to see him removed, but it's GOD'S Will that he will be our punishment.
