3D-Printed Church Project Advances in Czech Republic

The Archdiocese of Prague has welcomed plans for a new Holy Trinity Church in Neratovice. The church is set to become one of the country’s first major parish churches to be built using 3D printing technology. The project is under preparation since fall 2024.

The ark-shaped church will be assembled from over 500 computer-generated concrete blocks and will feature sculptural, wave-like walls.

According to architects, this method will reduce costs and concrete use by up to 70%.

The sterile appearance will also reduce parishioner use by 70%.

The industrial town of Neratovice was founded under communism without a church.

The new building will include community spaces for concerts and seminars, which will give it a social role.

Looks like a sterile womb!

Complete, total, utter garbage. Perfect for Newchurch, though
