I think it is important to pray most fervently both the Rosary and the St Michael's prayer as Pope Francis asks. Prayers are much more powerful when in obedience to the petrine office. Our Lord and King, Jesus Christ, is fully aware of the identity of His enemies and His solutions are the most resplendent multifaceted jewels, full of exquisite irony. So let's pray as Pope Francis asks in full knowledge and delight that our good God will hear our prayer.
He should be delighted to have them in his seminary and delighted to ordain them. They are faithful to the Church's teachings. They are a useless feeding ground for McCarrick types. They are chaste so fornication or sodomy would be out the window. Furthermore they make great saints. What's the problem Bishop Felix Genn, why do you not want to ordain these wonderful Catholic men? Well I think if you prevent perverts from sexually abusing the seminarians and if you defrock pervert Bishops and their enablers and stop ordaining known perverts it would solve most of the problems. It's not really complicated. The person responsible is Pope Francis. Pope Francis needs to address the McCarrick issue once and for all. Did he or did he not enable a known abuser. He needs to purge the Church of the perverts and, if he himself is an enabler, he must resign himself to a life of prayer and penance and call a new conclave. If we were to follow Cardinal Ouellet's suggestion without this purge we would only end up with more perverts and a coven of fag hag enablers to boot - a far greater problem. Which or whether, the fact of the matter is that priestly formation is a man's business. Normal decent women are not attracted to such a role. The problem is not the lack of women but the lack of proper manliness and holiness. I dare say the Church needs proper holy fathers to guide her sons in virtue and holiness. We are all sick to the teeth of half men who, under the guise of a "respect" for women refuse to embrace their masculine roles. Man up for goodness sake! and Yes we the laity need to embrace holiness and pray for our clergy. We need to support them with fasting and penance too. A lot more work needs to be done by all. So let's get down to it!
That cousin of J.T. needs to answer in court for the trouble and harm to reputation caused. This sick sin is very serious and accusations of this nature are very grave matters. Both real abusers AND false accusers where there is no doubt need to be punished severely. This is not simply a case of not enough evidence but clear defamation. What does the DA intend to do with that cousin. This is an offence against society itself as well as the Bishop. The DA needs to act before that cousin abuses other people surely!
Cardinal Cupich needs to apologise for his dreadful remarks regarding Pope Frances's position on the McCarrick case. Abuse is a very serious sin and we need to get to the bottom of this whole affair. It is not going down a rabbit hole to insist on a proper investigation of the credible allegations made by Archbishop Vigano. I for one would like to see him join his voice to all those others who have insisted on a proper investigation. What's the problem for goodness sake. Just do the right thing! Its not complicated.
What the blazes is going on here! They seem to not even care that they could get caught. I'm glad Cardinal Cupich suspended his faculties and removed him from ministry but is this the same as being defrocked? Is he still being paid by the diocese? I think the crux of the matter and what we must keep focused on is that Cardinal Cupich should not have referred to the question of Papal knowledge of McCarrick as going down a rabbit hole and suggesting that climate problems are more important than the serious sins involved in the whole affair. He needs to deal with that error of judgment. He needs to apologise to victims for his irrational remarks and join his fellow Bishops in demanding that, what appear to me, credible allegations regarding Papal knowledge of the McCarrick affair is properly investigated for everyone's sake.
Did not the Church always and everywhere teach that it is admissible for the proper authority and for grave reasons? I do not understand how this proposition is not a rejection of Church teachings. Furthermore the CDF explanation is not coherent in my view for the following reasons 1. Not all countries have penitentiary systems capable of dealing with extremely evil people. 2. A criminal may die unexpectedly in prison without due preparation thus damning himself to hell. Whereas a criminal who knows the hour of his death is more likely to make proper preparation. 3. The act of execution itself allows the criminal to suffer just punishment for his crime that, if he is truly repentant, will mitigate against his much greater suffering in purgatory. Indeed many death row inmates have given testimony to the value of this opportunity to make amends for the crime they have committed. Of course you have to know there is an afterlife, hell, purgatory and heaven for all that to make sense. If you erroneously believe that the unrepentant soul is simply obliterated after death then when one speaks of reform and redemption one might merely be talking about nonrecidivism.
Some people argue that psychology is a false science that dresses sin up in medical terms - sin that naturally will manifest in the mental disorder so medicalised. What we are seeing now are the clothes coming off. We see the bare naked truth that sin as a perverse will set against the natural law is now acceptable and that the false science of psychology needs to get with the program and stop labelling as mentally disordered people, who will to live as they like without any regard to the natural law. The lunatics have literally taken over the ayylum. Its an interesting perspective.
Well in all fairness he didn't say Pope Francis. I expect he was saying that the ape church he and his minions are building will have its own ape pope.
Thats like saying they don't want to change the doctrine: that obviously can't change, No, they just want to change the pastoral practice. If they don't change the pastoral practise into a practise that allows them to ignore the doctrine then the doctrine prevents them from doing what they want which is clearly an untenable prospect.
Since it is a recognised and established ecclesiastical process for the clarification of confusion within the Roman Catholic Church the presentation of the Dubia most certainly is an ecclesial action. Seeding confusion is not an ecclesial act. Requesting it to be dispelled most certainly is.
