Dominicans, Dominicans, Dominicans
Everybody is looking for something but doesn't know what.
The answer is simple - only for the one thing.
And I say; Love, Love, Love.
Quest for happiness is driving your life.
The medicine is one and you know it.
And I say Love, Love, Love.
We preach love that you are all looking for.
It's our mission, our challenge.

Since Vatican II, so-called "conservative" Catholics, while technically orthodox, have made it their task to prevent any constructive criticism of the unprecedented and revolutionary program of innovation unleashed by the Council.
We call them neo-Catholics because they have in fact conserved nothing except the post-conciliar novelties — an ecumenism that runs counter to all of Catholic practice before 1965, a posture of "dialogue" with anyone and anything that has so far gotten nowhere and produced nothing of value, and a new liturgy that could politely be described as an act of vandalism.
These contingent, time-bound pastoral programs are defended by neo-Catholics, regardless of how catastrophic they have been in practice, as if they were solemnly defined dogma.
Just as the neoconservatives serve a useful purpose to liberals in the secular world by attacking true conservatives and thereby …
umm none said anything here about the SSPX? did they..i missed it i guess... the news article seem to speak of 'neo-catholics' not neo-Conservative Catholics like my post.......anyhoo my post is written from a FSSP priest, not a schismatic SSPX..and in context of the post article, Conservative vs. Traditional Catholicism, i would rather not be linked with outlook of neo-cons, so called, but firmly be within Traditio, along with his holiness Pope Benedict XVI.

PS. Mr Loughnan, the AngelQueen link yu gave did not work..never seen angelqueen forum before, but upon browsing it looks as if its completely SSPX/(SSPV ?) and therefore a waste of my time...

Dissenting priest accuses Schönborn of showing disobedience too
Peter Paul Kaspar, chaplain of the Academy and the artists of Linz, one of the leaders of the Pfarrer Initiative has written an open letter to the Cardinal of Vienna
Fr. Kaspar has sent an open letter to Schönborn, after the cardinal criticised dissident priests for launching an “Appeal of Disobedience” during Pentecost 2011. “The fact that you have asked us to reconsider the title of the appeal, instead of discussing its content, says a lot about your understanding of authority: you speak of the obedience we owe God, to his teaching and to our conscience rather than looking at yourself and your own role.”
In his letter to the Archbishop of Vienna, Fr. Kaspar spoke of the case of young Florian Stangl --Queering the Church. “You asked for a meeting with a gay parish priest, elected to the pastoral council by a significant majority, …

The Case for Gay Acceptance in the Catholic Church
The death penalty no longer applies to people who divorce or sleep with women during their periods, as described in the Bible. So why can't attitudes on homosexuality change as well?
The Catholic Church's attitude towards homosexuality is at odds with its tradition of tolerance and understanding.
The actual practice of the Church is true to this tradition.
What other institution separates men and women and encourages them to live together in monasteries and convents where they can develop deep relationships with those who share their kind of love?
The fight for the dignity of the LGBT community is a fight for the soul of today's Church.
Some conservatives see the hierarchy's current, traditional teaching on sex as the Church's defining position.
They don't really like to talk about, or even be reminded of, the Church's teachings on immigration, or protection of the environment, or the greed that produces financial meltdowns, all of which …

40:35QUARERE DEUM.

Vatican to breakaway traditionalists: not enough
The Vatican on Friday told a breakaway group of traditionalists that they have so far failed to overcome doctrinal differences blocking a return to the church fold, a cherished goal for Pope Benedict XVI.
Cardinal William Levada, who heads the Vatican's office to ensure doctrinal orthodoxy, met for two hours at the Vatican with Bishop Bernard Fellay, leader of the traditionalist Society of St. Pius X.
The group has opposed the Vatican's decades-long outreach to Jews, Muslims and members of other faith.
More broadly, it opposes the liberalizing reforms the Vatican enacted in the 1960s.
Benedict has made efforts at church unity a priority of his nearly seven-year-old papacy, especially reaching out to ultraconservatives.
Despite failure to reach agreement following Benedict's overture to the group, the Vatican left the door open, saying that Fellay's group has been given until mid-April "to reflect and clarify" its position, a Vatican …

"a sermon of SSPX Bp. Bernard Fellay for Candlemas. It is a real dissapointment, to say the least. Fellay said that the Priestly Society of St. Pius X is “obliged to say ‘no’” to the proposal of reconciliation which came from the Vatican.
In a time when more and more we need Catholic unity, after reading Bp. Fellay’s words it is hard to understand how the SSPX is not on a course to formal schism."
