"Groundbreaking" is an understatement regarding this lawsuit against coerced abortion in Minnesota. Please commit to prayer and sacrifice and spreading the word. @Jungerheld... Thank you for posting this topic because it does happen, and it is important. Yes, I believe the incidence of coercion is relatively small. I am aware of surveys of abortive women that claim coercion is a major factor but it does not comport with reality. I have watched about 100,000 women walk in to kill their babies over an 18-year span and abortion by coercion was rare. Women respond to these surveys after the fact in such a way to blame someone else rather than themselves. Thank you for care and concern and please keep up the fight against abortion.
Yes, I understand what you mean. However, if you are at all interested in taking the time to read about this case, you can see how it is something the general public is more likely to comprehend, relate to, etc. Atty Cassidy is right in describing the mother never truly has full understanding just like a mother relinquishing her relationship thru adoption never does so before birth and even not immediately after birth. It's a good argument among other good arguments.
@chris griffin I also just wanted to clarify, this legal case is about much more than revealing the reality of coerced abortions which, sadly, do happen in ways beyond imagination. It is about dismantling the lies that led to legalized and even celebrated abortion in the first place. Everyone knows it's a false house of cards. But the likes of Planned Parenthood still peddle that it is the moral equivalent of a root canal. The plaintiffs and attorneys greatly need the assistance of our regular prayers.
