Mafia Not Excommunicated: Prison chaplain, Fr Marco Colonna, continues giving Holy Communion to 200 mafia inmates at Larino high-security prison in southern Italy, even after Pope Francis had "excommunicated" them. Quote: “After the pope's comments, some prisoners came to me and asked me if they should consider themselves excommunicated, saying that if they could no longer take the sacrament, they would stop coming to Mass."
