@Simon North It's true that when he was the head of the CDF under Pope Benedict he was a vehement critic of the SSPX and required that to have full canonical status they had to sign a V2 acceptance document. However, now things have become so bad under Francis he is now somewhat supporting them. He is even occasionally celebrating the TLM.

@philosopher Don't be fooled. It may be comparative heresy - but it's still heresy. He's also got theological problems with Our Lady's perpetual virginity in partu as well as transubstantiation.
