Maybe if you can get through your brain fog and meditate/reflect on those words and Who it is that says them you just might let go of the bone that you are growling on. The second disastrous papacy! This nonsense has been around for a long time. I've heard it many times before over the years, and of course the Francis also spouted this nonsense. It is the age old heresy of debunking the Divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ and the dumbing-down of the Catholic Faith - I mean we really don't want to offend anyone now do we, especially our muslim "brothers". Popes, bishops and priests and others who preach and teach this nonsense simply do not believe that Jesus Christ is God Incarnate, the Eternal Word made flesh for us and for our salvation. That is why you will never hear them explicitly preach about the Person and Mystery of our Lord Jesus Christ. Like this pope, he speaks about "peace" but never about the source of the reconciling Peace that only the Prince of Peace can and does give when repentance, conversion, forgiveness and reconciliation with God through the Blood of the Cross of the Prince of Peace is preached and given. "we can live together in peace" - Really! Not without the Prince of Peace. Did you - Pope Leo - tell the muslim about the Prince of Peace, the only source of real peace since He made this Peace by the Blood of His Cross. Please Pope preach Jesus Christ, tell the muslims that Jesus Christ is not just a prophet, tell them He is God the One Only Saviour of the world. And, while you are at it tell those muslims that their Mohammed fella is a demonic false prophet and burning in hell and there are no celestial virgins there or anywhere. Christus Vincit!
False religion "protocol" does not apply to Catholic Popes! Apart from that, what the hell is he doing in a bloody mosque? Did he bring a bucket of Holy Water with him to drive out the demons - doesn't look like it. The Pope and Cardinals and bishops need to stop kowtowing to bloody muslims.

Everything - everything - we have and believe in our Catholic faith we receive from God, we do not take it, grab it, demand it or even have a right to it. Everything is given by God in and through our Lord Jesus Christ and His Church as His Gift to us to receive in worship, adoration, praise and thanksgiving. Get of your high Novus Ordo donkey and get a bit of humility - for the love of God. Holy Communion on the tongue is the most reverent and safest way of receiving the Lord - and remember it is the Lord! I recommend you to read Bishop Athanasius Schneider in Christus Vincit chapter 14 The Eucharist and Holy Communion page 219 and following.
How do you know, were you there? In the Novus Ordo Mass almost all beauty and reverence has gone out the windows that Vatican II opened to let the world in. "Communion in the hand" is one of the major reasons for the loss of faith and reverence for the True Presence of our Lord Jesus Christ in the Sacred Host, that and lay people distributing Holy Communion. The pre-1955 Rite of Holy Week is still used by some Traditional communities/groups. I have experienced it several times but all the Liturgies at the reformed times - which I believe are much better and make more liturgical sense. I also believe that the '55 reform was necessary and good. The 1962 Missal also has all the Passion accounts read during Holy Week on the same day as the pre-55 Missal. I use the 1962 Missal for Sunday and weekday Mass in private as I am a cancelled/retired priest and cannot celebrate Holy Week Liturgies in private. I usually go to a monastery where they are celebrated with the pre-55 Missal at the reformed times. This year I could not go and instead I attended a Franciscan Friary for Novus Ordo Holy Thursday Mass of the Lord's Supper and Good Friday Passion. I did not go back for the Easter Vigil - I just couldn't do it!

I am glad Pope Leo XIV has carried out the washing of the feet in a traditional, more dignified and proper way. But, I just don't get this "kissing the feet" thing. The Gospel of St. John tells us Jesus washed the feet of His Apostles, it says nothing about kissing them. I have seen this kissing before and I find it cringey! It comes across - to me - as one-upping Our Lord Jesus, a kind of false humility (like the Francis) or virtue-signaling! Personally, I have never kissed feet during the washing of the feet. In the past it was done (or had the possibility of been done) at a separate ceremony. Now days in many places the whole thing is abused and a bit of a circus. The only feet I'd kiss are the crucified feet of our Lord Jesus Christ. Laudetur Iesus Christus!
Duped! What planet are you living on? They do not have the same God because their religion is false religion, their god is a false god - a demon in fact. Demons work by trickery. There is only one God - the God Who reveals Himself as Father, Son, Holy Spirit. Have you drunk of the "all religions are the same" Kool-Aid.
