Dying To Self Produces Abundant Spiritual Fruit
The gospel reading emphasizes the importance of dying to self to produce much fruit, not just for ourselves but for others and God. This requires a joyful disposition, giving ourselves to God and others out of love, not selfishness. By doing so, we align ourselves with God’s will, glorify Him, and grow spiritually, ultimately becoming more perfectly like Him.
