Media Problems: The Vatican’s media machine is broken according to Father Raymond de Souza writing in the British Catholic Herald. De Souza points at the latest interview of Pope Francis, granted to the anticlerical journalist Eugenio Scalfari, which caused many embarrassments in the Vatican. For De Souza – quote – “media problems originating in the papal apartment cannot be solved by anyone other than the Pope who is the cause of them.”

Impossible Task: For Father de Souza the papal spokesman Fr Federico Lombardi has been put in a difficult position. Quote: “Lombardi is not even a full-time spokesman.” This – quote - “speaks volumes about the priority the Holy See has put on proper media relations.” According to de Souza Lombardi is often taken by surprise by Pope Francis’s phone calls and interviews. This means that his ex-post clarifications put him in the odd position of apparently contradicting the Holy Father himself. Quote: “A man with a lesser sense of service would have been tempted to resign the impossible task being asked of him.”

Nutsy-boltsy, not touchy-feely: The newspaper of the dioceses of Little Rock, Arkansas, has presented St. John the Baptist Latin Mass Community, based at St. Patrick Church in North Little Rock. FSSP Father Michael Magiera is their pastor. He says about his faithful: “They travel from great distances, some of them very great distances. The Mass means enough to them that they are willing to inconvenience themselves to come here.” Younger Catholics with families dominate the congregation. Parishioner Earnie Cavin is also quoted: “Guys, we like to hear what we need to do, give it to us and let us go to work. This is more nutsy-boltsy, not as touchy-feely.”

Enjoy your meal: The German Liturgist Guido Fuchs wants to integrate meals into Catholic services. He writes about this in a new book. Fuchs believes that eating in church corresponds more to what Christ has done. He wishes that the Church offers more often meals in order to – quote – “introduce everyday life into the sphere of the holy”. Fuchs believes that eating during religious services creates community.

Does anybody pay attention to Fuchs/Fox apart from the apostatic church and bishops in Germany?

Nie postęp musi być, lecz - wiara. Kiedy wiary nie ma, wchodzi na miejsce wiary to, co jest.
Zamiana kościoła w stołówkę - faktem znamiennym. Znamionuje brak wiary. Inni mówią, że to skutek jakiejś modernistycznej machiny, a nawet modernistycznego spisku. Owszem, ludzie czasem kombinują. I to z powodzeniem, gdy brakuje wiary.

So now we could go to mass with a 3D lenses and popcorn? I'm not surprised. I fully understand now why priests go sedevacantist nowadays, it is full blown apostasy.
