Obviously Catholic: Pope Francis has read the official biography of archbishop Marcel Lefebvre twice, according to the SSPX Superior General Bishop Bernard Fellay. Fellay also reported that as a Cardinal of Buenos Aires he preserved the foreign members of the SSPX from being deported from the country. Foreign priests need the signature of a bishop in order to get a residence permit. Cardinal Bergoglio helped the District Superior without hesitation. Quote: "You are a Catholic, that's obvious."

Wrong Advise: A draft of a gender-document issued by the English Episcopal Conference contradicts Catholic morality according to the pro-lifer John Smeaton. The document deals with the implementation of an Equal Treatment Act of 2010. It recommends to Catholic social workers to support people who wanted to undergo a so-called sex change and to make this step for them as easy as possible giving them medical and social advice.

No Scandal But Daily Routine: On Tuesday a complaint against a lay-liturgy that occurred on June 2nd 2013 in Kottingbrunn, archdiocese of Vienna was made public. The rite was performed by a lady and a gentleman who walked in liturgical vestments to the altar and simulated a Mass with Gospel, lay homily and Eucharistic Prayer. Only the words of consecration were omitted. In a letter to the nuncio Cardinal Schönborn called the ceremony a "unauthorized and misleading form of the liturgy of the word." It had however no consequences. Similar mass-simulations are widely spread in Austria.

Five euthanasia victims a day: In 2013, over 1800 people were discarded by euthanasia in Belgium. The year before, there were about 1400. This means that five people a day were killed with a lethal cocktail in the country. Among the dead were a transsexual, mentally ill people or couples who wanted to die together.
