No Condoms: Speaking Monday to bishops from Tanzania, Pope Francis has praised church workers in Africa who promote chastity in order to prevent AIDS. The pope was speaking of – quote - "all who strive diligently to educate people in the area of sexual responsibility and chastity."

Sacred Ground: U.S. President Obama gave the rosary he received from Pope Francis to the House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi. Pelosi has referred to abortion as “sacred ground.” Second Vatican Council calls it an «abominable crime». Last week, Pelosi was honored by the largest U.S. abortion provider with the Margaret-Sanger-Award. Sanger was a U.S. born racist and eugenicist who died in 1966.

New Trial: On Monday, former priest Christopher Thomas Wenthe from a St. Paul parish saw his controversial conviction for sexual misconduct overturned. It regarded a case involving a consensual act of fornication with a 21-year-old parishioner in 2003. The Court of Appeals ruled that Wenthe’s first trial in 2011 had three significant errors. He will receive a new trial. According to his lawyer Wenthe would like to return to the priesthood.

Irresponsible sexual practices: Gay critical organizations filed 21 amicus briefs in a lawsuit challenging Virginia’s constitutional amendment defining marriage as between a man and a woman. In a brief Mathew Staver wrote on behalf of the Liberty Counsel about – Quote - “the inherent harms of living a homosexual lifestyle.” He also mentioned – quote - “the irresponsible sexual practices associated with homosexuality that greatly affect the health, safety and welfare of homosexuals.” He pointed to a statistic showing that homosexuals are 17 times more likely to develop anal cancer than normal man.
